How to join – Membership

The Association is open to all individuals who subscribe to its aims and who pay the prescribed membership fees. Membership fees have been revised since DHASA’s acceptance as Constituent Organisation within ADHO.

Three types of yearly membership exist:

Individual Membership – R250 for two years

Student Membership – R100 for two years

Organisational Membership – The membership fee for organisations / academic societies is calculated on an ad hoc basis, please contact [email protected]

Benefits of joining DHASA

  • Supporting new and current members of the community through mentorship activities
  • Discounted local and international conference/workshop fees.
  • Assisting members with initiatives in line DHASA’s aims.

Code of conduct

The Digital Humanities Association of Southern African subscribes to the ADHO Code of Conduct. The Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO) is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and collegial conference environment for the benefit of everyone who attends, and for the advancement of research and scholarship in fields supported by our constituent organizations.
